Christ Church Mosaic of People
We are a mosaic of God's people. We are a colorful mosaic of persons, with many talents, working together in a common mission. The Tiffany mosaic of the Lord’s Supper in our chancel is our symbol.

We are young, old, married, gay, single, newcomers, and veterans. We were born in America, Canada, the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Many live in the city, others in suburbs and towns.

We are a community of brothers and sisters who strive to live the Way of Christ. Through the Episcopal Bishop of Rochester, we are united to the Church Universal around the world and through all ages to the Apostles of Jesus.

We are named for Jesus Christ.
We are witnesses to God's love in downtown Rochester's lively East End.

We believe that God was in Christ restoring all people to unity with God and each other.
Jesus shared daily human life, demonstrated God’s compassion and justice, healed sick and troubled people,
reconciled sinners, and called all to respond to God’s love in a community of faith.
Jesus was executed on a cross, but God raised him in a victory for all people over sin and death.

God calls us to continue Christ’s reconciling ministry today.

We invite you to respond to God and join us as we serve God and one another.
